How to Use the Elementor Pro Theme Builder

The Elementor Pro Theme Builder is a powerful tool that allows you to create custom website designs and templates for your WordPress website. With the Theme Builder, you can design and customize every aspect of your website’s layout, including headers, footers, single post templates, archive pages, and more. In this guide, we’ll walk you through the process of using the Elementor Pro Theme Builder to create stunning custom designs for your website.

1. Accessing the Theme Builder:

  • Log in to your WordPress dashboard.
  • Navigate to Templates > Theme Builder in the Elementor menu.

2. Understanding Template Types:

  • The Theme Builder allows you to create templates for various parts of your website, including:
    • Header: Design and customize your website’s header.
    • Footer: Create custom footers for your website.
    • Single Post: Customize the layout of single blog posts.
    • Archive: Design templates for archive pages like category and tag pages.
    • 404 Page: Customize the design of your website’s 404 error page.

3. Creating a Header Template:

  • Click on “Add New” to create a new header template.
  • Choose a header template type (e.g., header, footer, etc.).
  • Design your header using the Elementor drag-and-drop editor.

  • Once satisfied with your design, click on “Publish” to save your header template.

4. Creating a Footer Template:

  • Follow the same steps as creating a header template, but choose “Footer” as the template type.

  • Click on “Publish” to save your footer template.

5. Creating Single Post and Archive Templates:

  • To create single post or archive templates, choose the respective template type in the Theme Builder.
  • Design and customize the layout of your single post or archive pages using Elementor.
  • Add dynamic content widgets like post title, post content, post meta, etc.
  • Customize styling, layout, and other design elements.
  • Click on “Publish” to save your single post or archive template.

6. Applying Templates to Your Website:

  • Once you’ve created your templates, you can apply them to different parts of your website.
  • Go to Templates > Theme Builder and click on the “Display Conditions” button next to your template.
  • Choose where you want the template to be displayed (e.g., the entire site, specific pages, etc.).
  • Click on “Save & Close” to apply the display conditions.

7. Preview and Publish:

  • Before publishing your changes, use the preview mode to see how your templates look on your website.
  • Once you’re satisfied with your designs, click on “Publish” to make your changes live on your website.
